The Ontario Mounted Special Service Unit (OMSSU) provides communities across Ontario with a wide range of professional services to best meet our costumer's needs. For more information on what we can provide and what services meet your needs, please review the following;
MOUNTED SEARCH AND RESCUE (MSAR)
Mounted Search and Rescue (MSAR), is one of the Ontario Mounted Special Service Unit's most unique services. This specialty service within Search and Rescue (SAR) uses our certified Mounted Safety Support Officers and Unit Horses to assist in rescue and recovery missions across Ontario.

Paired with Air Scent Tracking skills, our Unit Horses are trained to a high degree for locating lost individuals, livestock and products. CANADIAN CAVALRY
The Ontario Mounted Special Service Unit's Canadian Cavalry is honoured to preform Nationally. Our iniative will raise awareness and contribute to finding a cure, helping women both equestrians and non-equestrians alike become Breast Cancer Survivors.

AMBASSADOR PATROL
The Ontario Mounted Special Service Unit's Mounted Safety Support Officers are professionally trained to observe from horseback with a strong emphasis on costumer service. Our Mounted Safety Support Officers are expected to be courteous, have working knowledge of your event and provide help to those in need.
